The Convention will highlight educational and sports programs across the country that are supporting the efforts of Kenya’s many ethnic peoples to create an environment of peace as a model for Africa in the twenty-first century.

Global Peace Festival 2010

Since 2007, the GPF has grown into a worldwide movement engaging political and spiritual leaders, sports stars, celebrities, and a broad range of partnering organizations. The 2010 Global Peace Festival will provide an international platform to highlight innovative, soft-power responses to conflict in the twenty-first century.

In recognition of the GPF’s investment in peacebuilding, the Hon. Raila Odinga, Prime Minister of Kenya, will act a Patron of the Festival. Learn more.


Inter-national Young Leaders Summit 2010
