Mr. John M. Bridgeland
President & Chief Executive Officer Civic Enterprises, LLC
John M. Bridgeland is President and CEO of Civic Enterprises, a public policy firm in Washington, DC, and vice-Chair of Malaria No More, a non-profit launched at the White House Summit on Malaria that is creating a grassroots global movement to engage the private and non-profit sectors in helping to end malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. Bridgeland is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Law.
His research on America’s "Silent Epidemic," which discusses the nation's high school drop-out crisis, proposed ways to ensure equal opportunities for America’s youth. It brought national attention to the issue. He led a summit on the issue that prompted action at the federal, state, and local levels around a 10-point plan of action to increase graduation rates and ensure that youth are ready for college or the work force.

In describing Bridgeland’s work overseeing more than $1 billion in domestic and international service programs in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 attacks, former US Senator Harris Wofford called him “one of the most impressive people I've seen in public life in recent times.” [Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Bridgeland]
