Global Peace Festivals

The signature initiative of the Global Peace Festival Foundation is the Global Peace Festival.  Much more than just a celebration, a Global Peace Festival is a methodology to build common cause and positive impact guided by the vision of One Family under God. Whether organized on a regional, national or local level, a Global Peace Festival engages diverse partners in three key areas: social impact programs, leadership education, and a significant festival that celebrates the diversity of the human family, honors those working for the greater good, and amplifies this positive message to the larger society.

In just the last three years, GPFF has engaged more than a million people on six continents, drawing on the energy and conviction of civil society partners, the resources of the business community, the shared values of faith-based organizations, as well as the engagement of government agencies.

In Fall 2010, regional Global Peace Festivals have been held in Nepal, Indonesia, and Paraguay, leading up to the special Global Peace Festival Africa 2010 in conjunction with the Global Peace Convention in Nairobi, Kenya.
